Local Branch Information Related to COVID-19
The health and safety of our members and Suncoast staff are top priorities. When we learn of confirmed cases of coronavirus in our branches, we follow CDC guidelines, inform team members that may have come into close contact with the affected team member, and close the location for extensive cleaning and sanitizing of the entire branch to minimize the risk of any surface transmission.
Please note that when a positive test result is reported, our branch or facility immediately closes for sanitization and reopens the following day.
The following branch locations have reported a positive instance of COVID-19:
- FORT MYERS MATTHEW DRIVE SERVICE CENTER – 1533 Matthew Drive, Fort Myers – 1 confirmed case; last in branch on April 8
- NAPLES HORSESHOE SERVICE CENTER – 2728 Horseshoe Drive North, Naples – 1 confirmed case; last in branch on April 5
- PUNTA GORDA SERVICE CENTER – 2310 Tamiami Trail, Unit 2129, Punta Gorda – 1 confirmed case; last in branch on April 2
- LEE BOULEVARD SERVICE CENTER – 5705 Lee Boulevard, #7, Lehigh Acres – 1 confirmed case; last in branch on April 1
In addition to following CDC and other health authority guidelines and providing our locations with the latest safety guidance, we are conducting more frequent cleaning, sanitizing and disinfection, paying close attention to high touch areas such as doors, counters and lobbies. All branch staff wear face masks and plastic visors, and all branches are equipped with plastic barriers to separate staff from members. We ask that any team member who feels any symptoms of illness at all to stay home and call their medical provider. Additionally, we require that members also wear masks when inside a Suncoast lobby.
