System Upgrade: What to Expect

We are excited to bring our new core processor to life, with capabilities for future products and services, faster transactions, enhanced security features and expanded options for current services. Some services will be new, while others will remain the same. 

To implement the upgrade, certain services will be unavailable the weekend of February 14-16, 2015.

What will be new?

  • New, easier to read statements

What has changed in SunNet Online Banking?

  • Account suffixes are expanded to four digits
  • Transaction history formatting changed slightly
  • Debit transactions from February 13-16 may not appear in your history immediately, but will be posted on February 17
  • If you use Mint.com or Quicken, please refer to special instructions to update these tools. Please note: Quicken will be unavailable until 9 a.m. Wednesday, February 18.

What will stay the same?

  • Your current member number (sometimes referred to as your account number) will remain the same. In some cases, you may see your account number presented as a 10-digit number with leading zeroes; however, it is not necessary to enter leading zeroes when transacting business.
  • Your existing direct deposits, payroll deductions, automatic Suncoast loan payments, automatic withdrawals and direct payments
  • Your Personal Identification Number (PIN) for ATM cards, debit cards, SunNet Online Banking and SunTel Automated Phone Banking
  • Your current checks will still be valid, but re-orders will have a slightly different MICR number. If you do not re-order checks through Harland Clarke or the Credit Union (who will have your updated MICR account number on file), the number on your current checks will still be valid. However, you will want to meet with a Member Service Representative at your convenience to get your updated account number for subsequent reorders.
  • Current debit cards, credit cards and ATM cards will work without interruption

Friday, February 13

  • All service centers and the Members Contact Center will be open normal business hours.
  • Service centers will be able to issue instant issue debit cards and change debit card Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) until close of business.
  • Online membership applications will be unavailable beginning 8:30am ET.
  • SunNet Online Banking, Online Bill Pay, SunTel Phone Banking, SunMobile App, and Mobile Deposit will be unavailable beginning 8pm ET.
  • Online loan applications will be unavailable beginning 8pm. Online mortgage applications for First Mortgages will not have an interruption of service and can be accessed from our Online Mortgage Center.

Saturday, February 14                                                                                                                                        

  • The Members Contact Center will be open during normal business hours (8am ET – 1pm ET) and available for questions but will not have access to member accounts.
  • SunNet Online Banking, Online Bill Pay, SunTel Phone Banking, SunMobile App and Mobile Deposit will be unavailable.
  • Online membership applications will be unavailable.
  • Online loan applications will be unavailable. Online mortgage applications for First Mortgages will not have an interruption of service and can be accessed from our Online Mortgage Center.
  • All existing direct deposits, payroll deductions, automatic Suncoast loan payments, automatic withdrawals and direct payments scheduled for 2/14/15 will be made.

Sunday, February 15

  • SunNet Online Banking, Online Bill Pay, SunTel Phone Banking, SunMobile App and Mobile Deposit will be unavailable.
  • Online membership applications will be unavailable.
  • Online loan applications will be unavailable. Online mortgage applications for First Mortgages will not have an interruption of service and can be accessed from our Online Mortgage Center.
  • All existing direct deposits, payroll deductions, automatic Suncoast loan payments, automatic withdrawals and direct payments scheduled for 2/15/15 will be made.

Monday, February 16

  • Suncoast Credit Union will be closed in observance of Presidents Day.
  • SunNet Online Banking, Online Bill Pay, SunTel Phone Banking, SunMobile App and Mobile Deposit will be unavailable.
  • Online membership applications will be unavailable.
  • Online loan applications will be unavailable. Online mortgage applications for First Mortgages will not have an interruption of service and can be accessed from our Online Mortgage Center.
  • All existing direct deposits, payroll deductions, automatic Suncoast loan payments, automatic withdrawals and direct payments scheduled for 2/16/15 will be made.

Tuesday, February 17

  • All service centers and Members Contact Center will re-open for normal business hours.
  • SunNet Online Banking, Online Bill Pay, SunTel Phone Banking, SunMobile App and Mobile Deposit will be available again by 7am ET.
  • Online loan applications will be available by 7am ET. Online mortgage applications for First Mortgages will not have an interruption of service and can be accessed from our Online Mortgage Center.
  • Online membership applications will be unavailable.

Wednesday, February 18

  • Quicken will be available by 9 a.m. ET.

Friday, February 20

  • Online membership applications will be available by 8:30am ET.
