It's Never Too     Soon To Save

From college tuition to buying a car, saving today will help you afford the things you want tomorrow. We make saving easy, with a variety of resources that will help you become a successful saver.

The Ins & Outs of Saving

Getting educated is the first step in successful saving — and we can help. We believe it’s important that you understand how to maximize your efforts, in addition to putting money away for a rainy day.

  • Saving 101

Learning how to save while you’re young can positively impact your financial standing for the rest of your life. We take a comprehensive approach to teaching you how to handle your money, so you’re prepared to handle your finances today and tomorrow.

When you bank with Suncoast, you belong to a credit union — which means you get access to a complete selection of financial services as well as countless benefits you won’t get with a bank. These include:

    • Higher returns on your deposits. We’re not-for-profit, which means we return more of our earnings in the form of competitive loan and savings rates directly to members like you.
    • Federal insurance. Your deposits and savings are insured up $250,000 with the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) — an agency of the federal government.
    • Resources. When it comes to money management, there’s a lot to know. We realize the value of smart saving from a young age, so we created resources like our mPower eLearning program to help you along your journey to financial independence.

Student-Run Branch Program

At Suncoast, we want all our members to be confident in managing and understanding finances — especially our youngest members. That’s why we created a student-run branch program. This unique program trains select students to perform marketing and transaction duties within more than 30 school branches throughout six local counties. Students work together in a team to spread awareness of credit unions and the services they provide to teens. Students gain a greater understanding of managing finances and budgeting — invaluable skills as you move into the future.
